Pian dei Giullari is a tiny hamlet on one of the many hills that surround the city of Florence, on the south side of the river. It is approx. 10 minutes by car and 45 minutes by foot from the centre of town. Bus service is available with a stop close by. Within walking distance is Omero, a well-known restaurant, café and small grocery store for convenient shopping and meal delivery, once was the favourite local restaurant of Julia Child.

Once a B & B now converted to a single home, this semi detached villa set in a garden with an electric gate, measures approx. 200 sq. mts (2,150 sq. ft) and is on the first floor and consists of:

Furnished with some antiques and traditional piece, the soft furnishings are mainly cotton, and there are exposed wooden beam ceilings and wooden floors, the kitchen is well appointed, the bathrooms are modern and fully tiled, the gas heating may be regulated by the client, linens and kitchenware are supplied. The shared garden has lawn furniture, a pool and a Jacuzzi.

AMENTIES:
Parking, shared garden and pool/hot tub, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, internet connection, satellite TV, mosquito screens, air conditioning.
This apartment can be rented together with another 3 bedrooms apartment for larger groups.

Positive aspects: 
Location, views, garden, pool, Jacuzzi with hot tub, walks, off street parking, quiet, sunny light, not isolated, municipal buses close by.

Negative aspects: 
Steps, neighbours, shared garden, shared pool & hot tub, 1 bedroom on the back side has no view, 1 bathroom with no window, limited closet space in the bedrooms.

Our personal opinion: 
“Located in one of the most beautiful country setting, but within walking distance to the city, a dream to be in the Jacuzzi amongst the cypress and olive trees smelling the rosemary bushes close by, with a glass of Chianti wine.”

For weekly rentals:  hot tub heating,pool heating, air conditioning, rental of bed and bath linens.
