The piazza is extremely centrally located, within a few minutes` walk from the Duomo cathedral, the Ponte Vecchio and all of Florence`s major museums, historical sights, bistros, bars and restaurants.  The exquisite Rivoire Caffe Pasticceria, is 50 meters from the apartment.  It is a wonderful location for shopping and sightseeing, with the main post-office and the Central Market of San Lorenzo less than 15 minutes away.

The apartment is located on the first floor (approx 12 steps, no elevator), measures approx. 180 sq.m. (approx. 1950 sq.ft.), and consists of:

FURNISHINGS:
The furnishings are a mix of modern and antique with mostly modern decorative items.  There are dark teak floors throughout and original wooden beam ceilings in the living and dining rooms.  The floor coverings are tapestries.  The doors, door frames and window frames, as well as the divider between the living room and corridor to the bedrooms are all original carved wood.  The very modern kitchen is built in with a marble counter top and wall.  The bathrooms have modern fixtures and glass shower stalls.  Large, double glazed windows with curtains in the living and dining rooms open on to the balcony.
 
AMENITIES:
Air conditioning, large flat screen Satellite TV, 3 gas burner stove, oven, small refrigerator, separate freezer, oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, wifi, VCR, DVD, telephone, alarm system, linens and kitchenware are supplied. The heating is autonomous.

Positive aspects: 
Location, spacious, luminous, quiet, views, air conditioning, balcony.

Negative aspects: 
Bathrooms without windows.

Our personal opinion: 
“A very elegant apartment on the “noble” floor of a historical building on one of the most important squares in Florence; at the same time it is totally quiet.”
