Via Romana is a long narrow street on the south side of the river. It commences at Piazza Pitti and terminates at the Porta Romana, one of the gates to the historic city.  This gate and street were given the same name as they were the direction one took to go to Rome. The river Arno is  about a 20 minutes walk from the apartment, as is the famous Ponte Vecchio.  Piazza Santo Spirito, featuring Brunelleschi`s beautiful Church of the same name, and a daily food and clothing market are approx. 15 minutes away. Via Romana is lined with shops, bars and restaurants. 

Description: 
The apartment is on the 3rd floor (66 steps, no elevator) and measures approx. 60 sq mts (approx. 650 sq.ft). It consists of:

Contemporary furnishings, parquet floors throughout, area carpet in living room, exposed beam ceilings stained a lighter color. White kitchen with dark counter top and upper cabinets. Bathrooms with tiled walls and modern fixtures.

Air conditioning, window screens, stove with 2 gas burners, oven, washing machine, small dishwasher, TV in living room and each bedroom, wifi, autonomous heating. Bed and bath linens and kitchenware supplied. 
This is a NO smoking apartment.  Pets NOT allowed.

Positive aspects: 
Location, luminous, window screens.

Negative aspects: 
Stairs, no window in powder room.

Our personal opinion: 
"A very attractive apartment in an interesting "left bank" type location."

Included: 
Condomiumio cost, mandatory cleaning once every 2 weeks, 3hours/time. 

Not included: 
Utilities (electricity, gas, water), internet connection, final cleaning and laundry charge, tourist tax.
