Piazza Santa Croce is in the heart of Florence on the north side of the river. It is within a few minutes´ walk from all of the city´s most famous museums and monuments. Close by are the Sant´Ambrogio open-air fruit and vegetable market, a post office, several theatres, gyms and general shopping. Piazza Santa Croce hosts many festivities including the Calcio in Costume football match during the month of June.

FURNISHINGS:
A mixture of modern, antiques and built-in, the floors are original terracotta with rugs, the fireplace mantle is made of wood, the ceilings have wooden beams and there are eight floor-to-ceiling windows giving views onto the Piazza Santa Croce, the kitchen and bathrooms are modern with built-in cupboards.

AMENITIES:
Air conditioning, T.V. internect connection, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer, linen is supplied. A small private gym room for guests next door.

Positive aspects: 
Location, elevator, views, fireplace, spacious, air conditioning.

Negative aspects: 
2 bathrooms some distance from twin bedroom, noise (pedestrian or events in the piazza).

Our personal opinion: 
"A very special and unusual apartment because one can cook, dine and be entertain at the same time. In the winter time the fireplace is a very special feature, and the palazzo is magnificent place to stay for short or long periods of time."
