The location is convenient for shopping, restaurants, most museums, and is near many artisan workshops. It is approximately a 15-minute walk to Piazza della Signoria and the historical monuments on the north side of the river.

Between 1868 and 1869 Fyodor Dostoevsky wrote The Idiot while living in this building. There are two garages for parking nearby, one in Via del Presto di San Martino and the other in Borgo San Jacopo.

Positive aspects: 
Location, elevator, luminous, loggia with very large windows, views.

Negative aspects: 
The small bathroom has no window.
