Location: 
The Parte Guelfa is a section of Florence where the political party called the Guelfi met in medieval times. It is now a narrow street next to a palazzo of the same name, right near the  Piazza Repubblica, Straw Market and the Ponte Vecchio. It is within walking distance of all of the important monuments and museums, restaurants, super market, boutiques and the river Arno.

Description: 
Situated on the 1st floor and measuring approx. 55 sq. mts (595 sq. ft) and consists of:

Entry hall
Living/dining room (double sofa bed, table for 4)
Bedroom (twin beds, may be made into a double)
Bathroom (shower stall)
Kitchen

FURNISHINGS:
The floors in the living/dining room are terracotta tiles and hard wood in the bedroom. The original exposed wooden beam ceiling has been restored and some of the old 14 century characteristics have been maintained. The kitchen is compact but modern, as is the bathroom. The furnishing are mainly modern and traditional and the bedroom has a built-in closet. This is definitely a NO SMOKING apartment.

AMENTIES:
Air conditioning, washer/dryer combo, dishwasher, Internet connection, TV, safe, microwave oven, double paned windows. Linens and kitchenware are supplied.

Positive aspects: 
Central location, historical building, closet space, washer/dryer, internet, air conditioning, safe.

Negative aspects: 
Noise (centre of town), no window in bathroom or kitchen, limited natural light.

Our personal opinion: 
“A cosy apartment in which unusual antique features have been maintained during the restoration. Undoubtedly a very interesting location for long or short term rentals.”

Not included: 
Utilities (gas, electricity, water), internet connection, condominium, garbage tax, housekeeping, final cleaning and laundry charges.
